Here are some opportunities to help our Philanthropy Partners outside of our usual volunteer and donation outreach as well as other community organizations in need. 
These opportunities are open to anyone, not just our members.
Also-please feel free to log hours if you volunteered.  Although they are not calendared events, during this unprecedented time-we extend the opportunity to volunteer AND log hours.

  • The following local philanthropies and organizations need donations to help those impacted by Coronavirus, COVID-19:
  •  Urban Peak
  • Urban Peak is in need of:
  • Make face masks for our frontline staff until we are able to access medical-grade supplies. Guidelines for how to sew these masks are available online. You can email Tamar Berner to coordinate your donation if you have masks to contribute.

    - Write notes of encouragement for our youth and staff. An external message of hope and love matters. You can also leave a message of support on Facebook or Instagram and we will pass along each message. You can send these notes to us at:

    Make a donation

  •  More than ever, JFS needs donations as the demand for services increases. Your gift will help us to provide what is needed to the individuals and families that we serve. Thank you for your support.

  • Volunteer

    We are in need of healthy individuals and groups to volunteer to sort, organize, and box food, and to perform office tasks related to food distribution. If you are interested in volunteering please sign up here.

    Volunteers are still authorized and encouraged to support JFS COVID-19 relief efforts under both Mayor Hancock and Governor Polis executive orders and public health orders related to COVID-19. 

    Donate food

    In order to serve more people in our community we need donations of shelf-stable food, toilet paper, diapers, and wipes. You may purchase from our Amazon Wish List and have items shipped to us.
